“Púlsares”, a short film that tells the story of “cosmic clocks,” has won first prize at the “Ciencia en Acción” 2022 competition. Produced by VIS, the film explores the world of pulsars—neutron stars that spin at extraordinary speeds, emitting pulses of electromagnetic radiation at regular intervals.

The “Ciencia en Acción” competition, held annually, rewards the best science communication initiatives in Spain and Latin America. The jury recognized “Púlsares” as a work of great educational value, capable of explaining a complex scientific topic in a simple and engaging way.
